Waterton Willdflower Festival - an event you don't want to miss.

If you like to experience wildflowers, bears, deer, foxes, mountain goats, moose, elk, mountain sheep, birds, spectacular mountain scenery, pristine lakes, and a host of nature's other wonders, all against the backdrop of an unspoiled national park, then you should visit Waterton National Park.  And during the Wild Flower Festival from June 19th to 28th would be a good time to do it.

The annual festival provides hikes, workshops, and other activities all around the spectacular natural beauty of the park. The botanical art workshops, guided hikes to see bears and blossoms, photography workshops, and presentations on the flowers of Waterton are often fully booked so now would be the time to link to the festival program. If you click here it will take you to the Waterton site from where you can link to the flower festival.

This year there are two botanical art workshops with Margaret Best. The two-day "Introduction to Botanical Art" workshop is on 22nd and 23rd June and the three-day intermediate level workshop is on 24th, 25th and 26th June. Both are close to being fully booked but you may still get in.

Spectacular Waterton . . .
