4-day Workshop •

Edition of

$375.00

The focus of this 4-day workshop is to explore painting heirloom plants (fruit or vegetable). These are plants preserved from earlier periods in our history prior to manipulation for mass production.

You will not find specimens in the local supermarket display of polished and "perfect" specimens. Small farms, organic growers, farmers' markets, and perhaps roadside stands are the most likely sources. Another source might be wild and native gooseberries, cranberries and saskatoon berries transplanted into private gardens.

Upon registration you will receive more information to assist in your search for heirloom specimens.

Mediums offered for this workshop: Water colour, coloured pencil, graphite.

Times: From 9.30 am to 4.00 pm each of the 4 days.
